Prepare 2 Practice Fellowship

Program Information

The Prepare 2 Practice program offers fellowships to graduate-level fieldwork students so that they can complete their level II placements at one of our partner schools. Therapy students will treat children with special needs at the MICO Care Centre in St. Ann, Jamaica. If you feel the program is the right fit for you and meet the requirements, we’ll enter into a fieldwork site agreement with your school.

12 weeks of full-time fieldwork

Financial Aid

The Smile A While Foundation will provide Fellows with:

  • Room and board
  • A $1,500 stipend

Number of Fellowships

6 students per semester (Spring, Summer, Fall)

Requirements

You must:

  • Be enrolled in a full-time occupational therapy or physical therapy graduate program
  • Get approval from your school
  • Pay for your own plane tickets
